It would be useful if there was the list of packages used in the live system -- published along with the ISO at http://nightly.altlinux.org/sisyphus/current/ . Or a link to the list if it can be found elsewhere. Neither http://www.altlinux.org/Rescue nor http://www.altlinux.org/Regular doesn't give links to the list of packages. +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #29702 +++ The list of files of an ISO is useful -- to study the list of packages included in this ISO before deciding to download it. A good example: ftp://ftp.altlinux.org/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/p7/images/simply/altlinux-7.0.0-simply-i586-install-dvd5.iso.txt A not so good example: ftp://ftp.altlinux.org/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/p7/images/simply/altlinux-7.0.1-simply-i586-live-dvd5.iso.txt In the latter case of the LiveCD, it's not good that we can't read the actual list of the packages used/installed in the live system (because the ISO contains the whole image of the live system as an image).
This relates to mkimage-profiles and has been on todo for some time already; need to implement another postprocessor. Might also require patching mkimage so that reliable information on packages going into subprofiles is preserved: it's impractical to get a list of packages that went into rescue image without booting it, even if rpmdb hasn't been purged. We've discussed it several hours ago with boyarsh@, incidentally ;-)
Сейчас внутри каждого iso в .disk/pkglists сохраняются списки пакетов каждой стадии сборки.
